Greek outfit Aris FC has announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Oghenekaro Peter Etebo on a permanent move.

Etebo has put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the club after leaving Championship club, Stoke City.

The Greek club confirmed the deal through a statement on its social media page and website on Friday morning. 

"Aris announces the acquisition of Oghenekaro Etebo," the club said in a statement. "As of today. Etebo belongs to the Aris family," it added.

The transfer brings to an end Etebo's nightmare at the club after the Super Eagles star found game time difficult to come by since his return on loan from Watford.

Etebo's brief

Born on November 9, 1995, the 26-year-old joins Aris with a wealth of experience, having started his career in the NPFL with Warri Wolves.

He left the Nigerian club in 2016 when he joined Feirense in Portugal before spells at Las Palmas in the LaLiga.

Oghenekaro Etebo spent last season on loan at Watford.

In 2018, Etebo joined the Super Eagles stars plying their trades in England as he joined Stoke City.

A return to the LaLiga via Getafe on loan, Galatasaray, and Watford.
