Nigeria to play Congo, Cameroon next month, Tunisia or Algeria friendlies lined up
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be playing friendly games against Congo and Cameroon in the month of October.
According to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick, two friendly games have been arranged for the Super Eagles for October.
The Super Eagles will play Congo in Belgium, Brussels on Thursday, October 8 and Cameroon three days later on Sunday, October 11.
Pinnick also revealed that a friendly game with either Algeria or Tunisia is being arranged to prepare the Super Eagles for their 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt.
The friendlies will be another opportunity to tinker with his side in a bid to come-up with his best team.
Sunday Oliseh failed to win his first game in charge of the Super Eagles in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Tanzaia which finished goalless.
He however got his first win in the 2-0 win over Niger Republic in a friendly that was played in Port Harcourt.
Egypt lead the table in Group G of the AFCON qualifiers with six points while Nigeria is second with four points.
