The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have arranged a friendly game for the Super Eagles which has been scheduled to hold on Sunday, September 9.
According to AfricanFootball.com, a top NFF source has revealed that Super Eagles will be playing neighbours Niger, just four days after facing Tanzania in 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
AfricanFootball.com reports that the NFF were looking to get Ghana or Togo for the friendly but could not reach an agreement with the West African teams.
“The match against Niger is now confirmed for Port Harcourt after the AFCON qualifier in Tanzania,” the NFF source told AfricanFootball.com.
“The other proposals to other neigbouring countries like Ghana and Togo did not fly”, he said.
