A new Super Eagles kit will be unveiled this week according to President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.

The Super Eagles have been using an old Nike kit despite the launch of a new strip for the Dream Team VI.

Pinnick made this revelation during an interactive session with the media in London over the weekend.

“I am just going to confirm that. We are going to even have some of our players – in the Premier League – there at the unveiling,” the football chief said.

The new kit is part of Nike’s responsibilities in accordance with a deal they signed with the NFF in April 2015.

The deal will see Nike kit Nigeria football national teams till 2018 or beyond.

According to reports, the NFF will earn N743m ($3.75m according to the exchange rate of that time) during the three-and-half-year partnership with Nike and an N99m ($500,000) bonus if the Super Eagles qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia among other added incentives.

The NFF will receive 148m ($750, 000) in the first year which will rise to N198m ($1m) (198m Naira) each year in the three-year-contract.

Pinnick also confirmed that a new sponsor will also be announced for the FA Cup.
