Managed his 18-yard-box very well but had little to do in the game. Showed enough composure to inspire confidence in the Super Eagles defence.

5/10

Osas Okoro (Right-back)

Provided a good outlet from the right side of attack although his crosses were poor. Also did well in one-one situations defensively.

5/10

Stephen Eze (Centre-back)

Eze was solid at the back for the Super Eagles, marshalling the defence and commanding the area. Should have done better with a chance he had which hit the crossbar and had a goal rightly cancelled offside.

6/10

Kalu Orji (Centre-back)

Was also solid and had a good understanding with his partner Eze.

5/10

Daniel James Itodo (Left-back)

Put pressure on the defence several times as he was caught out of position a couple of times. Did not help out the attack.

4/10

Emeka Atuloma (Midfield)

Did well in defensive midfield, a position he is not used to. Still did well in protecting the back-four although he was caught out of position several times.

5/10

Ifeanyi Ifeanyi (Midfield)

The Akwa United midfielder was not at his best and was one of the disappointments of the night. Could not get it right with his passing and failed in dictating the game for the Super Eagles. He was substituted in the 59th minute.

3/10

Rabiu Ali (Midfield)

Failed to use his experience to lift the Super Eagles from midfield. Tried to do so much by himself at times.

4/10

Emeka Ogbugh (Forward)

Showed some flashes of brilliance early in the game but could not sustain it. Whipped in some good crosses but ultimately didn't do enough.

5/10

Sunday Faleye (Forward)

Best Nigerian player on the day, Faleye was superb in the game. Was a threat to the Rwandan defence and almost scored early on for Nigeria. His miss, when one-one with the Rwandan goalkeeper didn't dent his performance of the night.

6/10

Anthony Okpotu (Striker)

The highest goalscorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season was a shadow of himself as he struggled to make an impact in the game. He got everything wrong on the day, his touches, timing of the run etc.
