A day before the game, the Super Eagles woke up and had breakfast before going back to their rooms for the rest of the morning.

They came out later for a gym session at the Le Merdian Hotel which was missed by Victor Moses.

Moses was however with them when they came out later in the evening for a short meeting before their trip to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

At the stadium, the Super Eagles had a very light training session on the training pitch before they moved to the main pitch to have a feel of the ground they will be facing the Cameroonians.

At the main pitch, they welcomed a visitor in the person of Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel who addressed the team and encouraged them ahead of the game.

The Super Eagles squad then left the stadium for the hotel where they retired into their rooms, coming out later for dinner before they called it a night.

The Super Eagles currently sit top of Group B with six points after victories over Zambia and Algeria. Cameroon are second with two points while Zambia and Algeria are bottom.
