Peyton Manning hasn't decided but his father, Archie, thinks the quarterback's career could be set to finish following the Denver Broncos' 24-10 Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers.

The 39-year-old endured a difficult regular season, in which he was benched for the 29-13 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs and missed six games with a torn plantar fascia.

And he failed to impress in the championship game - throwing for just 141 yards and committing two turnovers in a far from vintage display.

Manning senior subsequently expects his son's career to finish imminently, but added they have not discussed his future.

"I think Peyton's done in Denver, he may be done everywhere," he told NFL Network.

"That's my – you know what, I don't stick my nose in it, so I don't know that. I don't know that, but that's my guess."

Reports have linked the 39-year-old with a move to the Los Angeles Rams if he parts with the Broncos, but, following Sunday's victory, he said he was only thinking of celebrating his second Super Bowl triumph.
