Oliseh in the early hours of Friday, February, 19 took to this Twitter to announce his resignation from the Super Eagles job, citing contract violations, unpaid wages and benefits to players and assistant coaches.

Samson Siasia has since been appointed as temporary coach of the Super Eaglesto be assisted by  Salisu Yusuf, FIFA U-17 World Cup –winner Emmanuel Amuneke and Alloy Agu.

Pinnick who was away at Zurich when Oliseh resigned as revealed that the NFF are searching for a foreign replacement for the Super Eagles job.

“After this Sunday Oliseh debacle, we have definitely turned the corner. We are now going to start shopping for a well grounded and qualified foreign coach to tinker the Team. Enough is enough," Pinnick told Hotsports.tv.

"What we have learnt is that there is a world of difference between being a good coach and being a good manager. "
