NFF ready to meet former Super Eagles coach in court over alleged unpaid salaries
The
Oliseh in the early hours of Friday, February, 26 took to Twitter to announce his resignation as coach of the Super Eagles citing contract violations, unpaid wages and benefits to players and assistant coaches.
Despite his claims of unpaid salaries and wages by Oliseh, the NFF is insisting that they paid him the sum of N20m a day before he resigned.
Oliseh released a statement saying his has not received any payment.
“My bank has confirmed that no payments whatsoever as alleged by the NFF has been made to me. (as at as this afternoon of the 29thof February 2016),” Oliseh said in his statement on his website.
Oliseh’s lawyers according to reports has now given the NFF 48 hours beginning from Monday to retract their comments or they would take them to court.
But the NFF is not bothered with the treates.
“He can go to court. Oliseh is not the only one who has lawyers. Ademola Olajire, Head of Comunication Department is quoted to say by Daily Post.
