Oliseh was appointed coach of the national team in July 2015 but resigned abruptly in February 2015 citing contract violations, unpaid wages and benefits to players and assistant coaches.

Five months after resigning, Oliseh has revealed that he and his assistant Jean Francois Losciuto are still being owed by the NFF.

“Hope the NFF will pay coach Losciuto & myself the huge amounts they still owe us without litigation whilst we are alive! Pray they listen!” the former Juventus midfielder wrote on Twitter.

He further threatened that the NFF could face ban from the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

“For 5 months, Losciuto's lawyers' letters to D NFF have been ignored. Should CAS suspend Nigeria it is not his fault. B4 they lie 2 you again!” he added.

The NFF have however keep insisting that they are not owing Oliseh any money.

“The NFF can confirm it is not owing former @NGSuperEagles coach Sunday Oliseh, any money whatsoever,” they wrote on Twitter.

Oliseh’s comment comes after the NFF admitted to owing late technical director of the Super Eagles, Shuaibu Amodu.

After the death of Amodu, reports emerged that he was owed seven months salaries but the NFF clarified it.

“NFF Gen. Sec, Mohammed Sanusi has confirmed the Federation owes late Coach Shuaibu Amodu salaries for two (2) months,” the NFF say on Twitter.
