Senator Shehu Sani begs Pastor Taribo West to pray for Super Eagles to win against Ghana
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been advised to seek divine intervention ahead of their upcoming second leg 2022 FIFA World Cup double-header playoff qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.
This idea was suggested by Shehu Sani, Senator for Kaduna Central.
The 54-year-old, took to his official Twitter account to give his suggestion about prayer being needed for the Super Eagles in a quest to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The message on his official Twitter account said, "Nigeria plays Ghana on Tuesday; if I nominate Taribo West to pray for us some of you will say no."
The suggestion of former Super Eagles defender Taribo comes after his prayer for former Lagos State governor Bola Ahmed Adekunle went viral.
Taribo went spiritual with his prayer surrounded by his former Super Eagles teammates at the 70th birthday celebration for Tinubu.
Taribo now retired is a pastor and as Sani suggested should pray for the team to be victorious against Ghana.
The Super Eagles take on the Black Stars at a 60,000 capacity MKO Abiola Stadium at 6 PM Nigerian time on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
