The 31-year-old had a precautionary visit to hospital but was subsequently released.

"He (Strokosch) will require a short period of recovery for soft-tissue injuries," team doctor James Robson told the Scottish RFU website.

Brown also hurt his shoulder in the same game, and it has been decided that he will return to domestic side Saracens for medical treatment.

Scotland will travel to Cordoba to face Argentina in their next Test on Friday.
