Rapper holds album listening, visual screening for 5th album "Highest"

Sarkodie has held an exclusive album listening and video screening session for his forthcoming album "Highest".

The event took place on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Plush ElectroLand Ghana Premium Showroom in Accra.

Representatives from select press and media agencies graced the event to listen to the album and watch the visuals accompanying it.

Korede Bello, Moelogo, Yung L, Praiz, Flavour, Jesse Jagz, long-time friend Ghanaian rapper and producer Jayso, Ghanaian Hip-hop artist Joey B, English spoken word poet Suli Breaks, Kenya's Victoria Kimani, British emcees Bobii Lewis and Big Narstie all feature on the album.

Previous Sarkodie albums include "Makye" (2009), the award winning "Rapperholic" (2012), "Sarkology" (2014) and "Mary" (2015).

Sarkodie in 2017, released a number of songs such as 'Gboza', 'Many girls' featuring Patoranking and 'Long distance' featuring Benji, 'S.H.O.U.T', 'Just in case' featuring Masterkraft and 'Painkiller' featuring Runtown.

None of these songs make it to the album, with exception of 'Painkiller' which serves as a bonus track.

Sarkodie was the first African artist to win the  BET Awards Best International Act Africa in 2012.

"Highest" is due out Friday, September 8, 2017.
