Rapper blasted over Ace Hood collboration
The media circus over Sarkodie keeps growing, as the reaction to the drama keeps getting bigger.
Next to throw his opinion on the matter is Ghanaian OAP and reggae act, Blakk Rasta, who has chided Sarkodie over the rapper’s comments on his collaboration with American hip hop act, Ace Hood.
Speaking with Storm FM in an interview, Blakk Rasta of Hitz FM blamed the Ghanaian rapper, saying that his comments came from a place of arrogance and pride, for claiming on radio that Ace hood contacted him first.
"This is the first time I’m commenting on this issue and when I first heard about it I was so heart broken, Sarkodie stated recently that he was very humble. But these days when you listen to his interviews, you will notice some traces of arrogance." Rasta said.
"Self-praise and pride are his problems now because you hear him talk about Ace Hood looking around Africa and he was the one chosen."
Blakk Rasta also expressed his disappointment with the BET award winner, and plans to advise him when their paths cross.
"Ghana’s entertainment is relying too much on hype and that’s why these things keep repeating itself. I listened to the interview and even if Ace Hood called you and you ended up advising him, it wasn’t necessary. Why come say all that on radio? It’s pride and I’m disappointed in him. Whenever I meet him, I will as a brother advice him on the direction he is going."
