African football legend stops Antalyaspor fans’ protest

Samuel Eto’o is so much loved by fans of his Turkey club Antalyaspor that they stopped protesting because of the African football legend.

Fans of the club storm their training ground to protest their recent poor results which has left them in 14th in the Super Lig.

The supporters were angry after Antalyaspor’s loss to Genclerbirligi, a team ranked one place below them.

Eto’o however diffused the situation when he calmed the fans down and took a selfie with them afterwards.

The angry fans suddenly turned to the camera smiling, cheering and singing songs.

“I’ll never leave you. I’ll fight for you to the last drop of my blood. Thank you for your trust and support. Let’s go scorpions!” the 34-year-old wrote while posting the photo on his Instagram.
