Agba just finished the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season with Niger Tornadoes and has chosen the offseason to tie the knot.

According to the 23-year-old striker, he met Anastasia when he was playing for Jigawa Golden Stars a couple of years ago.

“It started out when I joined Jigawa Golden Stars, it wasn’t that serious then but I’m happy we have decided to get married,” Agba told .

“We’ve been together for this while because she is loving, caring, respectful and above all God fearing. She’s not just a wife-to-be but my sister, my friend, my everything.

“Despite all my short-coming, I’m glad we are engaged today and getting set to get married.

“Hopefully, she will continue to be a blessing to me and she will bring joy to my life which will make me a better player by God’s grace.”

Agba and Anastasia will be tying the knot at the Power Embassy Church, Mando in Kaduna on Saturday.

The striker has over the years become one of the most sought-after strikers in the NPFL.

He joined Niger Tornadoes from Gombe United prior to the start of the just concluded 2016/2017 season.

He has also played for the likes of Jigawa Golden Stars, Enugu Rangers and Nasarawa United.
