US pastor, sunday school teacher murdered

A Pastor in the US, was murdered in his church reports.

James Tripp Battle was shot and killed in his church at the Bayshore Baptist Church in Bradenton.

Police has arrested a suspect Andres Andy Valos who has also been charged for the murder of his own wife, Amber Avalos, and his neighbour, Denise Potter.

Pastor James Tripp Battle was shot dead at his church, Bayshore Baptist Church in Bradenton while the bodies of Amber Avalos who was a Sunday School Teacher at the church and their neighbour, Denise Potter were discovered at the Avalos residence 10 miles away from the church.

Police believe Avalos killed his wife and Potter first before going to the church to shot Pastor James Tripp Battle.

Avalos was arrested at a mobile home park in the Bradenton area on Saturday, December 6 and is being held in police custody without bond following the killing spree on Thursday, December 4.

The Avaloses have six children, who were at school at the time of the shootings.  They are now in the custody of a relative.

The reasons behind the killings are not yet known and police are looking for possible connections in the triple murder.
