While the transfer fee for Samu Costa's move from Mallorca to Al Nassr remains undisclosed, another club is keenly watching the final figures, as they stand to profit: Almería, a club in which Cristiano Ronaldo also holds a stake.

According to reports from the Balearic island, when the Andalusian club sold the Portuguese international's rights to Mallorca in 2023 for three million euros, they secured a clause entitling them to 20 percent of any future sale.

Recent news indicated that Germany's RB Leipzig had made an offer. While the exact figures were never made public, it was reported that Mallorca demanded 25 million euros for the midfielder, who came through SC Braga's academy.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, the deal between Mallorca and Al Nassr will indeed be struck for that amount. In such a scenario, approximately 4.4 million euros would go into Almería's coffers. It's worth noting that the captain of the Portuguese national team became a co-owner of the Spanish club, acquiring a 25 percent stake. Indirectly, he will therefore profit from the choice of the club he represents as a player.
