Hypertek Digital/960 Music Group front-liner, 2Face Idibia, has led a group of stellar performers to thrill the student population at the event, “On The Road To Afrima Awards On Campus” in conjunction with the “Vote Not Fight” campaign.
2face who was nominated who was nominated in the category of “The Best Male Artiste, West Africa” at the All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) was the headlining act for the event which held October 15, atthe Indoor Sports Hall in the Unilag Sports Center, and he put in a performance of his songs drawn from his last two albums. Hit songs such as ‘Ihe Neme’, and ‘Let Somebody Love You’, where the delight of the excited student guests.
Other stellar performances from the night came from a variety of Nigeria’s top entertainers, including Niyola, Jaywon, Joe El, Capital Femi, as well as the fast-rising stars such as Saeon and BoyChyko.
Gbenga Adeyinka, the ace comedian was the host for the night, taking charge of proceeding with humor and plenty of dancing.
2face Idibia also launched his ‘Vote Not Fight’ campaign, a sensitization project which aims at highlighting the need for a non-violent electoral process for the upcoming 2015 Nigerian General Elections.
The awards ceremony for the 2014 AFRIMA holds this November.
