Innocent Nnamdi got Nigeria’s only bronze in Powerlifting’s Men's -72 kg.

Omolayo shattered her own world record and set a new one of 138kg to win gold while Ejike smashed the world record thrice to win the gold medal.

Kehinde twice broke the men’s -65kg World Record (WR) to win gold while Nwosu on Monday, September 12 beat the defending champion to win women’s -73kg Powerlifting event.
