After the D'Tigers proved strong to win the first quarter 16-15, their hope to make to the quarter finals rose, but was soon dashed by the Brazilians as they won remaining three quarters.
The Nigerian side would have been the first African team to win two games at the Olympics if they defeated Brazil.
Akognon Josh was the top performer for D’Tigers with 16 points while Uzoh Ben also did well with 15 points.
