Real Sociedad secured their fourth consecutive La Liga victory with a 3-1 home win over Levante. All the goals arrived inside the opening 27 minutes, with Orri Óskarsson firing the hosts ahead early on. Nacho Pérez leveled in the 22nd minute, only for Beñat Turrientes to restore Sociedad's advantage five minutes later.

The Basque outfit started on the front foot and broke the deadlock in the sixth minute when Óskarsson converted from a Héctor Fort cross. The visitors responded midway through the first half as Pérez made the most of their first clear opportunity. Tiago Fernández then had a glorious chance to put Levante ahead, but his close-range effort struck the post. Castro's side were immediately made to rue that miss when Turrientes struck to put the hosts back in front. Óskarsson had three further attempts over the following 10 minutes, though none found the target.

Real Sociedad continued to dominate in the early stages of the second half, although Levante were presented with a golden opportunity to equalize midway through the period, which substitute Karl Etta Eyong failed to convert. The hosts managed several more attempts to extend their lead, while Levante offered little late resistance and succumbed to defeat.
