Real Madrid's new signing, Carlos Espi, is set to earn eight times his previous salary following his transfer from Levante. According to reports from the Catalan publication "Sport," the 21-year-old forward will command an annual salary of 3.36 million euros at the royal club, a significant jump from the 420,000 euros he earned at his former team.
Real Madrid officially announced Espi's acquisition on Thursday. The Spanish giants triggered the striker's release clause, valued at 25 million euros. Espi's contract with the Madrid club runs until 2031.
Last season, Espi featured in 27 matches across all competitions, netting 13 goals. His previous contract with Levante was set to expire in the summer of 2027.
Today, the youngster completed his first training session with his new teammates.
