Unicaja had kept themselves alive with a 88-75 success in game three on Tuesday, but could not manage to take the semi-final to a fifth game as they fell short in the extra period.

The hosts fought back from a 37-35 half-time deficit to force overtime, but it was Real's quality that shone through.

Real owed much to the efforts of Sergio Llull and Felipe Reyes, both of whom scored 22 points to keep the defending champions' hopes of retaining the Spanish crown very much intact.

However, the identity of Real's opponents in the finals is still up in the air after Valencia levelled their series with Barcelona at 2-2 with a 81-63 victory in Catalonia.

Valencia, who had trailed Barca 2-0 after the first two games in front of their home fans, produced a commanding display to set up a decider.

The visitors lead 61-41 going into the final quarter, with the performances of Sam Van Rossom (17 points) and Romain Sato (15 points) putting Valencia in complete control.

And it was a gap that proved too much for Barcelona to overcome as Valencia comfortably closed out the triumph.

The fifth and final game will take place in Valencia on Sunday.
