Dutch football defender Denzel Dumfries has transferred from Inter Milan to Real Madrid. The Spanish club triggered his 20 million euro release clause, signing the thirty-year-old right-back to a contract until June 30, 2030.

Dumfries joined Inter in 2021 from PSV Eindhoven. He made 207 competitive appearances for the Milan club, scoring 27 goals and winning eight trophies. Last season, he helped Inter secure both the league title and the Coppa Italia. He has also earned 76 caps for the Dutch national team, netting 11 goals.

"Real Madrid and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of Denzel Dumfries, who has committed to our club for the next four seasons until June 30, 2030," Real stated in a press release, according to DPA. Inter bid farewell to the Dutch international with the words: "Good luck, Denzel. It was amazing to win together."
