Former Chelsea midfielder welcomed to China with flowers

After sealing a move to Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning on a permanent deal, former Chelsea midfielder Ramires was welcomed with flowers as he arrived.

The Brazilian midfielder move to the club who paid a reported fee of £25million to Chelsea.

Fans of the club were in jubilant mood as they welcomed Ramires to China.

The midfielder as greeted with flowers by supporters at Nanjing Lukou airport.

Ramires has already played for the club in their friendly against Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.

The 28-year-old joined a slew of high profile names who have joined Chinese clubs from Europe.

The likes of Jackson Martinez, Ramires, Luiz Adriano and Alex Teixeira have all made the move from Europe to Asia.
