Napoli coach set for Liverpool return

Rafa Benitez has reportedly turned down a new contract at Napoli making him favourite to return to Liverpool

After a woeful season, Liverpool are reportedly ready to sack Brendan Rodgers and replace him with former manager Rafa Benitez.

Rafa Benitez managed Liverpool from 2004 to 2010 winning the UEFA Champions League in 2005 and the FA Cup in 2006.

Brendan however has not been able to win a trophy for the club since he took over as manager in June 2012 and after a terrible season where they are set to finish outside the UEFA Champions League places, the club is set to cut ties with the Irish man.

According to , Benitez has told Napoli that he will not renewing his contract making him the favourite to take over from Rodgers as Liverpool manager.
