Chelsea to cancel striker's loan deal

Chelsea are set to cancel the loan deal of Radamel Falcao and send him back to his parent club, Monaco.

The 29-year-old signed a loan deal for Chelsea, after his shambolic stay at Chelsea last season.

Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho signed the striker hoping he could revive him to become he once feared striker he was.

With just one goal in 11 appearances and with Mourinho out of the club, Chelsea are set to cut their loses and send the Colombia international back to France.

Falcao who is currently injured has travelled back to Moncao for medical tests.

Chelsea 22-year-old striker Patrick Bamford has returned the Stamford Bridge after his failed spell at Crystal Palace while Guus Hiddink is also looking for option in the market.
