Alter Ego Lagos is a sophisticated fashion brand based in Lagos headed by Ego Maduekwe who is an architect and designer. The brand name was derived from her name, stating that ‘fashion’ is her ‘alter ego’. The fashion house was established in 2007 and presented its collection for the first time to the world at the MTN Fashion and Design Week 2012.

This year’s collection featured her signature use of traditional Nigerian fabrics to create modern and urban everyday wear for women. The collection was a colorful one with a lot of prints, The hair and makeup included slickked back long ponytails and dark lipstick with accessories reduced to the barest minimum.
