Readers threaten to call the police if traffic in Lagos state is blocked for a marriage proposal

On Wednesday, December 16, news broke of a romantic man blocking highway traffic with a marriage proposal.

"When you shut down one of the biggest and busiest freeways in the entire country (I45) and you ask your girl if she wants to marry u, That moment is priceless love u #shesaidyes."

Unfortunately, this did not have a romantic ending, as theHouston Police Department charged him with obstruction of highway, a Class B misdemeanor.

Readers were asked for their opinion with the following options;

A. Cheer them on

B. Horn at them

C. Call the Police

D. Look for another route

E. Simply wait

The results showed that Nigerians might be the least romantic people in the world.

Majority (36.8%) went for option C, followed by the 31.57%, who said they would simply wait.

The others, (10.5%) each, went with options A, B,D.
