Readers Say Single Ladies Should Stay In Their Parents' Home

We had a very topical issue on the Pulse Nigeria Poll yesterday and it was really a topic that had a lot of readers commenting on. The question we put out was: Do you think a matured single lady should move out of her parents' house?

Majority of the voters believe that marriage is not a must and that no lady should be forced to move out of her parents' home no matter the circumstances. Some even believe that marriage is not meant for everybody and as such, a lady who decides not to get married can live for the rest of her life in her father's house.

64.3% of Pulse Nigeria Poll voters said such ladies should not move out of their parents' houses while a mere 35.7% think mature single ladies should move out to earn their respect.

64.3% - No
