Readers are undecided over the Federal Government's new tariff on imported cars

On the 18th of August, 2015, Pulse Nigeria reported that a new development plan has been approved and that the Federal Government is increasing the tariff on imported cars.

Since, the new tariff was made to imported cars more expensive thereby, promoting the purchase of locally manufactured vehicles, we asked the readers what they thought about this tactic.

Surprisingly, the result was 50/50.

50% said they agree with the new hiked tariff as it would make Nigerians buy cars made in Nigeria thus, increase our economy.

The other half did not agree saying that that Nigerians should be allowed to make their decisions without the Government influencing them.
