Readers agree with LASTMA's solution for trailer-induced traffic in Apapa

Last week, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority(LASTMA) has come up with a solution to the horrible persistent Apapa traffic.

According to Mr. Chris Olakpe, Chief Executive Officer of LASTMA, the agency plans to reduce the Apapa traffic by relocating trailers and containers to a proposed site located in the premises of the Lagos Trade Fair Complex, Mile 2.

Readers were asked if they agreed with this solution.

They all said yes.

Personally, i do not think this is the right solution.

I think relocating trailers, combined with repairing the bad roads along Apapa-Oshodi Expressway, is the perfect solution.
