Pulse Sports readers want Nigeria international midfielder, John Obi Mikel to leave English Premier League side, Chelsea.

This is in response to a Pulse Sports opinion piece that opined that the 29-year-old has to leave Chelsea to fulfill his potential as a creative midfielder.

In a poll published under the opinion piece, 78% of the total voters agree that Mikel should leave Chelsea, 17% of the voters think he should remain at the club while 4.7% of the voters are indifferent about it.

Mikel however has remain at Chelsea for this season and has already started on game, 1-3 defeat to Everton last weekend.

The Super Eagles midfielder was left out from the Nigeria senior football team from the last 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania and the subsequent friendly against Niger Republic.
