Muharemovic, who represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 2026 World Cup, has penned a five-year deal with the newly promoted Premier League side. “Muharemovic is our second summer signing, and everyone at Leeds welcomes him to the club as we prepare for the 2026/2027 Premier League season,” the club stated in an official announcement.

The Bosnian defender impressed with his performances for Sassuolo in Serie A last season. At Leeds, he will fill the void left by Pascal Struijk, who moved to Brighton in June for approximately £20 million (€23.1 million). Prior to Muharemovic, Leeds also secured Welsh forward Harry Wilson, who joined after his contract with Fulham expired. This information was reported by AFP.
