The 27 year old paralympic champion  posted series of Twitter messages quoting the Holy Book and even illustrating his work with disabled children.

In one of his three postings on Sunday, the man accused of killing his girlfriend on Valentine's Day 2013, quoted Psalm 34:18 which says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted," before following suit with an image of himself  with a number of children; with the caption, "You have the ability to make a difference in someone's life."

His last of the three posts was an except from "Man's Search for Meaning", a Holocaust memoir by Viktor Frankl. And the last but not the least posting came in yesterday and it was a prayer for all his 353,000 followers which said, "Lord, today I ask that you bathe those who live in pain in the river of your healing."

Well, the 39-day trial, heard in Pretoria has been adjourned until August 7, when the prosecution and defense will begin making the oral closing arguments.
