Newly crowned king of African football Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has ruled out a move to Arsenal following several reports that he was on the verge of joining the Premier League giants.

The Garbon international has been Borussia Dortmund's best player this season, scoring 24 goals in 23 appearances.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old whose pace and goal threat can enhance their chances of winning the league this season.

Aubameyang who was yesterday, Thursday, January 7 crowned the African Player of the Yearin a ceremony in Abuja has however denied those reports.

"'I don't want to go to Arsenal," Aubameyang said in The Sun.

"I won’t leave Dortmund soon."
