Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is officially set to continue his career with the Philadelphia 76ers, where he will once again reunite with LeBron James.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the veteran guard reached an agreement to terminate his contract with the Memphis Grizzlies before signing a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the 76ers.
Caldwell-Pope had previously exercised his $21.6 million player option for the 2026-27 season but subsequently landed in Memphis as part of the blockbuster trade that sent Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic.
Last season, the 32-year-old guard played 51 regular-season games, averaging 8.4 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.5 rebounds.
His campaign ended prematurely in February when he underwent surgery on his right hand. Due to the injury, he missed his team's final 31 games.
With the acquisition of Caldwell-Pope, Philadelphia adds another proven champion and reliable defender to their ambitious roster, which already includes LeBron James. KCP has previously won NBA championships with two different teams: the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers.
