The entire database of the famed Panama Papers, which have caused quite the ruckus in recent weeks all over the world, has gone online yesterday at 6.00p, GMT is a searchable format.
Experts say the massive database is expected to detail all the ties between about 368,000 people and over 300,000 offshore companies, funds and businesses.
The Panama Papers data dump is part of a global investigation into the means which the most powerful, rich people in the world use to hide assets and circumvent rules by setting up front companies in far-flung parts of the world.
Just off the 11 million leaked files, the investigation has already exposed a lot of characters who use offshore companies to facilitate bribery, arms deals, tax evasion, financial fraud and drug trafficking.
The files have so far exposed so many influential leaders here in Nigeria and all over the world. The papers were taken from the archives of Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca and first leaked earlier in April, 2016.
