Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has briefly addressed the swirling rumors of a potential transfer to Arsenal over the past couple of days. The Nigerian forward has been repeatedly linked with Chelsea and, more recently, Tottenham, but now the Gunners have emerged as a frontrunner, according to reports from England. While not ruling out a departure from Galatasaray, Osimhen emphasized his full concentration on pre-season preparations. Arsenal is reportedly considering a bid for the striker, who is valued at £58 million.
“There are always rumors during the transfer window. I will focus on my job. I am concentrated on my duties, and then we will see and think further,” he stated.
On Friday evening, Osimhen scored twice, but his Galatasaray side began their Turkish season with a stumble, drawing 2-2 against newly promoted Çorum. In 2023, Osimhen openly expressed his ambition to play in the Premier League one day, during a period when he was in sensational form for Napoli en route to their Serie A title.
