The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) has adjourned the trialof former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe to November 26, 2015 for continued hearing.
The former minister appeared before the tribunal today, November 9, for the commencement of his trial presided over by CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar.
The CCT was however forced to adjourn the matter after the prosecution counsel, Ibrahim Usman failed to produce witnesses to support the case against Orubebe.
Orubebe had also earlier been accused of laundering N605 million from the ministry but he denied the allegations saying that he had already vacated the position before the money went missing.
