Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe is currently on trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) over allegations that he accepted a bribe of N70million while in office.

The four-count charge was filed on behalf of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) by Peter Danladi of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) on October 8, 2015.
Orubebe’s trial commenced today, November 9, 2015, in Abuja. The four charges against him are:
