Set in the fictional town of Tree Hill in North Carolina, "One Tree Hill" follows the lives of two half-brothers, Lucas Scott and Nathan Scott, who share an abusive father, compete for positions on their school's basketball team, and had lots of drama going on in their love lives.

Who remembers when Nathan got married to his high school girlfriend at age 16? Watching Nathan say “I could love you forever, so why can’t forever start today?” probably still sounds like one of the most romantic things to a hopeless romantic.

The love triangle between Peyton, Brooke and Lucas was emotional and engaging. It was difficult to not root for either of the ladies at different times.
