Olympiacos Secures Top Seed, Awaits EuroLeague Play-In Outcome

Olympiacos advances to the playoffs, awaiting their play-in opponent, while Armani concludes its EuroLeague campaign with a 17-21 record and four consecutive losses. The Italian squad was a contender for a play-in spot but endured a dismal end to their EuroLeague season, suffering six defeats in their final seven games.

The Athenians started strong, quickly building a 15-5 lead. They scored 26 points in the opening quarter, with the visitors attempting to keep pace, trailing by just two points at halftime. Olympiacos established their most significant advantage in the third quarter, particularly towards the end of the period, when their lead once again reached double digits.

Just a few minutes into the final quarter, Bartzokas's team extended their lead to 20 points (75-55), but the Milanese side responded with a 12-0 run. They cut the deficit to eight, and later to seven points, but the visitors couldn't close the gap further.
