Onazi was used sparingly last season at Lazio and has been constantly trailed with exit rumours. His future has now been sorted after completing a €5m deal with the Turkish top flight clubside.

Onazi took to social media to thank Lazio fans for their support over the years.

"It all started fives ago. Big thanks to all the great Lazio fans who stood by me when the time was rough and when we all smile," he wrote.

"God bless you all. I will always be praying for you."

The midfielder 22 appearances for Lazio last season as they finished eighth last season in the Serie A.

Onazi started his career playing in the streets of Jos in 1998. His football skills and abilities drew a lot of attention to him and afforded him the opportunity to play in some academies in the city.

He moved to My People FC from where he signed for Lazio in 2011.
