Neighbours have complained of rising noise levels from Gascoigne's £3million rented penthouse, from which he is reportedly facing eviction.

A friend of Gascoigne said Gazza, as he is fondly called, had signed up for a local town club in Bournemouth, where he lives and was expected to make a return to football at the age of 47. He was once dubbed 'daft as a brush' by his mentor, late Sir Bobby Robson.

In a gesture of solidarity, QPR coach Harry Redknapp is lending his support to the troubled ex-international Redknapp who lives just 10 minutes away from 'Gazza 'has invited him to coach the youth team at the Club.
