After his impressive start to the new season, Nigeria international and Watford striker, OdionIghalo has revealed that he is enjoying life in England.
The striker joined Watford in 2014 and helped the side to promotion to the English Premier League.
The striker has been in fantastic form for the newly promoted sided scoring four league goals this season.
The striker says he is reaping the benefit of the hardwork during the pre-season with Watford.
“I pushed myself hard during the pre-season after I scored 20 goals last season in the Championship and also because I know it will be more difficult in the Premier League,” Ighalo is quoted to say by Nations Newspaper.
“In the Championship, you have a lot more space to play with. This is not the case in the Premier League, where you are also up against more experienced defenders.
“In the EPL, you also have to be more ruthless in front of goal because you don’t get as many chances as you would get in the lower league.”
His recent form has earned him a nomination for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award.
In a list shortlisted by the expert panel of judges of Sky Sports, Ighalo faces stiff competition for the award from ManchesterUnited new boy AnthonyMartial, Manchester City stars DavidSilva and VincentKompany, LeicesterCity winger RiyadMahrez and WestHam forward DimitriPayet.
