Obradović to Bring Former Partizan Player to Israel?!

Serbian coach Saša Obradović is reportedly set to officially take over the helm of Hapoel Jerusalem, according to Israeli media. Following the club's dismissal of former coach Yonatan Alon, the choice fell to the ex-Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet boss, with his official presentation expected in the coming days.

With Obradović's arrival, Hapoel is also planning a significant team reinforcement. According to the newspaper "Israel Hayom," the club's top target is Jaleen Smith, the naturalized Croatian international and former Partizan basketball player.

Last season in the EuroCup, Smith averaged 13.3 points and 3.1 assists per game. Hapoel's management believes that he, alongside Jared Harper, would form one of the most potent backcourt duos in the competition.

Should these transfers materialize, Hapoel Jerusalem could emerge as one of the EuroCup's most ambitious teams next season.
