The shot-stopper emphasized that he and his teammates have moved past the transfer saga, insisting that Alvarez is fully committed to achieving success on the pitch.

The Slovenian goalkeeper commented on the situation with the Argentine forward ahead of Sunday's derby against Real Madrid: “We've accepted Julian's situation as something that's now in the past. He's with us, and we support him. Julian is giving his absolute best and has already played several matches where he's put in maximum effort. I'm certain that as long as he's here, he will give 100 percent and do everything possible to bring the club the best results.”

“A derby is a derby – everyone wants to play in such matches. My mindset has always been to win. As a footballer, you leave everything on the pitch, with the desire to perform at your best and help the team. This time will be no different. Every year we fight and we want to win. We're not just aiming for a top-four spot; we want the title. But the La Liga season is very long. There will be good and tough moments, as well as periods where things don't go to plan, but we must continue to believe,” Oblak added regarding the upcoming clash with Real.
