In the Hungarian capital, under rather challenging weather conditions, Angelina Topić reaffirmed her class. With a jump of 191 centimeters, she shared third place with Australia's Eleanor Patterson, earning a prize of $40,000.
"I'm more than satisfied. Normally, I wouldn't be with a height of 191, but it was so cold, the surface was wet, and it was raining... These conditions didn't suit anyone. We gave our best; after the European Championship, I timed my peak form for this event, so I'm extremely pleased, and I think this is a great way to end the season." - Angelina Topić
Topić highlighted that she didn't observe any significant changes in her discipline.
"For us, there weren't as many changes compared to other disciplines. The high jump remained the same. The only scenario where we'd continue jumping is if two athletes tied for first place. Unfortunately, that didn't happen this time. There wasn't much difference from other championships, honestly. I've competed here before in 2023, so I'm familiar with this track. I was glad to be here."

Angelina added that her sole desire is to fully relax and enjoy what she does.
"To relax and enjoy every day. I truly have the privilege of doing what I love. When I first started, I put a lot of pressure on myself, feeling like I had to achieve something, and I didn't realize what a privilege it is to have a body capable of competing at a world-class level. I need to relax, enjoy, and keep pushing."
The Serbian athlete was also asked about her family's reaction.
"There's nothing to reveal. Everyone was incredibly proud; I ran into their arms as soon as I saw I'd made it into the top three. I was so happy they were there to witness this success. I can't wait to go home and celebrate with them."
